How can I help?
JCA and its member organisations are all not-for-profit organisations striving to support our local Jewish community. Our success is dependent on the good will of the community, on your involvement and support.
There are a range of volunteering opportunities available across our member organisations and JCA. Whether you are able to provide professional services and skills or support services to individuals within our community, your help will be very much appreciated. JCA also looks for volunteers to assist in its fundraising efforts and telephone campaigns.
BECOME AN AMBASSADOR
Our ambassadors are our greatest assets. They are people throughout the community who are just as passionate as we are about advancing the quality of Jewish life and are willing to help JCA reach out to every corner of our community.
A JCA ambassador is an advocate, raising awareness of JCA’s activities to their friends and families and helping us to engage with the community at large through our educational and fundraising events.
To join the JCA family and become an ambassador for one of our fundraising divisions, please call us on 9360 2344 or email us at [email protected].
BECOME A SPONSOR
JCA greatly values the support of its corporate sponsors, many of whom have been supporters for several years.
JCA has a targeted approach to sponsorship. We work together with our sponsors to build a tailored and relevant sponsorship package to deliver a worthwhile return.
To discuss potential sponsorship opportunities, please contact JCA on 9360 2344.
BECOME A LEADER WITHIN OUR COMMUNITY
Founded in 2012, the Observership Program facilitates the involvement of young, talented and energetic individuals in a structured experience on non-profit Boards. Once screened and trained, each Observer is thoughtfully paired with an organisation for a 12 month period. During that time, Observers attend all board and/or committee meetings as non-voting members, and learn about fundamental principles and functions of non-profit boards, the roles of board members, it’s decision making process, fiscal processes, and other governance priorities. The program also provides targeted training and mentorship designed to impart important skills that Observers can to bring to future boardroom discussions.
