Community planning and facilitating is part and parcel of fund raising today because JCA donors expect us to direct funds to the community’s highest priorities and then hold our member organisations accountable for delivering services in a responsible and effective way.

 JCA’s Communal Planning activities are underpinned by the need to:

• Plan for future needs in systematic way to ensure we continue to serve the community not only today,  but  tomorrow and forever.
• Streamline inefficiencies in communal operations, processes and structures to optimise the delivery of services.
• Pro-actively engage younger members of our community in Jewish activities to enhance Jewish identity and foster continuity.
• Facilitate communication and shared-resourcing between constituent organisations to encourage cost- savings and better communal outcomes.
• Share best practices across our member organisations to drive superior performance.

The Communal Planning Committee works closely with the Allocations Committee to ensure that communal priorities are provided with the resources they need to succeed. Our combination of fundraising capabilities, strategic planning expertise and facilitation skills places the JCA in a superior position to achieve our aims: to safeguard Jewish welfare, strengthen Jewish vibrancy and ensure Jewish continuity.
